Is there a fee involved for the search system? |
|
|
No, the search system is free of charge and there are no hidden costs. |
|

Do VENUEMASTERS receive commission when I book a meeting room? |
|
|
There is no commission on meeting & group accommodation bookings made via the website search system. VENUEMASTERS do receive a small fee for bookings made on the online booking system for short breaks. Our main income comes from the member venues’ annual membership fees. |

Do venues pay commission to agencies? |
|
|
Some venues will pay commission and they can be contacted directly to check this. |

How long will it take for venues to respond to my enquiry? |
|
|
Member venues have agreed that they will respond to all VENUEMASTERS enquiries within 48 hours. |

Are venues just available during student vacations? |
|
|
Although there are more meeting rooms and bedrooms available during vacation periods, over 80% of venues now have facilities available at any-time of the year. |

What is Any-Time? |
|
|
This is a description of the venues that have facilities available at any-time of the year including weekdays, evenings and weekends. There are meeting facilities for up to 1300 delegates and over 2,500 bedrooms in total. Many of the any-time facilities are purpose-built conference centres dedicated to external events and all accommodation is en-suite. |

What does a 24-hour rate include? |
|
|
Many venues now offer an all-inclusive 24-hour rate to make it easier for organisers when planning their events. The rate generally includes meeting facilities, accommodation & catering, and in many cases will also include use of AV equipment and leisure facilities. |

Who are your members? |
|
|
UK academic venues. Membership is for venues which are either owned by an educational establishment or whose core business is the provision of further, higher or professional education. |

Does the VENUEMASTERS website use cookies? |
