What is the link between venuemasters, meetingvenuesuk and groupstayuk?

All these websites are owned and operated by Venuemasters. The main Venuemasters website provides an overview of who we are and what we do and the venues that we promote. Meetingvenuesuk.com promotes the meeting facilities available at over 70 academic venues across the UK. Groupstayuk.com promote the group accommodation available at over 30 academic venues across the UK.

Is there a fee involved to use the search system?

No, our professional team will process your enquiry, made via either meetingvenuesuk or groupstayuk, free of charge and there are no hidden costs.  

Do Venuemasters receive commission when I book a meeting room?

There is no commission on meeting venues or group accommodation bookings made as a result of using our enquiry service. Our main income comes from an annual membership fee paid by the venues we represent and various promotional opportunties they are involved with.

Do venues pay commission to agencies?

Some venues will pay commission and they can be contacted directly to check this.

How long will it take for venues to respond to my enquiry?

A list of venues which can accommodate your meeting venues or accommodation enquiry will be sent to you within 24 hours. Our member venues then have another 24 hours to respond to you directly, although you may hear from some venues before this time.

Are venues just available during student vacations?

Although there are more meeting rooms and bedrooms available during vacation periods, the majority of academic venues now have some meeting facilities available throughout the year at anytime.

What do the rates include?

Day rate refers to 'Day delegate rate' - this rate generally includes meeting facilities, audio visual and catering requirements and the cost is per delegate per day.
24-hour rate - this rate generally includes meeting facilities, accommodation & catering, and in many cases will also include use of AV equipment and leisure facilities and the cost is per delegate per day.
Group B&B; rate - this rate generally includes bedroom accommodation and breakfast for groups of 10 or more and the cost is per delegate per day.

Please note however that these details do vary between venues and the exact requirements of the customer so must be confirmed at the time of your booking. 

Who are your members?

Academic venues in the UK & Republic of Ireland. Membership is for venues which are either owned by an educational establishment or whose core business is the provision of further, higher or professional education.

I am from a venue, how do I become a member?

How do the Venuemasters websites use cookies?
