Conference Roehampton: in London SW15 is opening a brand new purpose-built centre this Autumn. It will have a variety of interchangeable meeting spaces for up to 150 delegates, along with a dedicated hotel providing high quality guest bedrooms. All of this is complemented by catering facilities on the top floor, with a terrace area providing some exciting views of the London skyline.
Nottingham Conferences: (at the University of Nottingham) are broadening their appeal to national and international event organisers with the opening of a new state-of-the-art sports centre. The ‘David Ross Sports Village’ represents a £40m addition to the University’s extensive event facilities that are spread across 3 campuses located in the heart of the UK.
Edinburgh First: (at the University of Edinburgh) is investing £1.6m in the refurbishment of its three-star, year-round hotel property, Masson House. The bedrooms are being upgraded to reflect a sophisticated and modern design, together with the addition of new bathrooms. The initial phase is expected to open in June, with 31 high-specification twin/double rooms perfect for those with differing accommodation needs.
Venuemasters’ Marketing Manager, Natalie Williamson, explains more: “These examples help demonstrate the sheer diversity of the numerous investments being made at our venues. It’s not all about property either, as many are also investing in staff training and recruitment to continue improving the quality of service being provided to event organisers and their delegates.”
