DOUBLE WIN FOR IMAGO |
|
imago, the conferencing brand at Loughborough University is celebrating after a double win at the prestigious MIMA (Meetings Industry Marketing Awards).
imago won a bronze award for Best Website and a Bronze Award for Best Brochure.
The MIMA Awards were held at The Science Museum in London on 15 October, and were open to all conference and meeting venues in the U.K.
Emma Boynton is Head of Sales at imago: “It is great news for imago to win not one but two MIMA Awards. We have worked hard to develop our promotional tools and this shows that our hard work has paid off and we have some recognition for this from the industry.”
imago won a bronze award in the category for Best Website. Emma said : “We were told that there were almost forty entrants in this category and that competition was very strong, so to achieve a bronze award is a fantastic achievement. The team at imago have worked hard with Mooloop, a Leicester based web design agency, to develop the website so it is clear and easy to navigate.”
Emma added: “With the focus centred on our customer needs and what they look for, we sought to create a simple yet effective, interactive website, that matches the customers requirements to our extensive hospitality offer."
imago won its second award of the night for the category of Best Brochure. Emma said: “We wanted to combine all our dedicated conference and academic conference offers into one clear, concise brochure. We also wanted to make sure the differences between each offer at each venue were clear, whilst still incorporating them under the umbrella brand of imago.”
Emma added: “The result of the MIMA awards show that we are well on our way to achieving what we set out to do when we designed the brochure and website.”
