NIGHT OF CELEBRATION FOR TOP MIDLANDS CHEFS

WARWICK Conferences will be hosting another prestigious event in the culinary calendar this weekend when top chefs from the Midlands attend their annual Dinner Dance and Presentation Evening. Members of the Midlands Association of Chefs will be gathering in the Panorama Suite at the award-winning conference and meetings venue for what promises to be a night of celebration on Sunday.

Outstanding contribution to the industry will be recognised when the coveted Tudor France, Louis Cipolla and Robert J. Smith Awards will all be presented to worthy winners of such recognition.

It is the second time in the space of a month that the culinary spotlight has fallen on Warwick Conferences. An awards dinner was recently held for participants in a Chefs’ Challenge which was run by the Conference Centres of Excellence in conjunction with the International Association of Conference Centres.

The Louis Cipolla Award is given for culinary excellence and achievement, the Tudor France Award for the greatest contribution to the hotel and catering industry and the Robert J. Smith Award for outstanding contribution.

Graham Crump, Group Executive Chef at Warwick Conferences and Treasurer of the Midlands Association of Chefs, commented: “This is the first time that Warwick Conferences has had the honour of staging this Dinner Dance and that is further recognition of our reputation throughout the industry. It promises to be a memorable night celebrating another highly successful year for the association. A lot of chefs who move away but remain members of the association come back for this annual occasion and we will have some distinguished guests from within the industry here on Sunday.”
