| LEICESTERSHIRE VENUES STAND TOGETHER AT THE NATIONAL VENUE SHOW, 14 - 16 SEPTEMBER |
| The University of Leicester has joined forces with LeicesterShire Promotions and other prominent venues from the area for the first time to promote Leicestershire. ‘Taste Leicestershire’ will give visitors to the National Venue Show an opportunity to ‘taste’ the region, as well as a taste of the county’s well known and favourite food offerings. In addition, there will be the chance to win a number of prize giveaways.
‘Taste Leicestershire’ will be holding an afternoon seminar on 15 September at 1.30pm to showcase the best of Leicestershire.
Sarah McRobbie from the University of Leicester said, “Leicestershire has a great
deal to offer both business and leisure guests.
This is an exciting opportunity for Leicestershire venues to be represented in one
pavilion together at such a major exhibition. Our aim is not only to show visitors the
wide variety of venues and attractions available but, also, help them to find us. With
over 400 exhibitors, we wanted to continue our objective of trying to make life as
easy as possible for organisers when they are arranging events.”
