|An independent panel of industry experts will be the judges for a series of awards set up to celebrate the best way to market the facilities of academic venues.|
The VENUEMASTERS Marketing Awards will go to academic venues that have the ‘Best Brochure’, ‘Best Website’ and ‘Best Promotional Activity’ and in their second year two new categories have been introduced - ‘Best Market Research’ and the ‘Customer Focus’ award.
The panel of judges will consist of Richard Alexandre, Co-Founder of Survey Shack.com Ltd, a company which provides high quality tools for the creation, distribution, management and analysis of on and offline surveys, research and business interaction projects, Anne-Marie Hunter from Kinetics Solutions and Tony Rogers, Chief Executive of the British Association of Conference Destinations. Since 2000 Tony has also acted as the Executive Director for the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO).
The judges have all kindly agreed to offer their experience and expertise to judge the nominations from VENUEMASTERS members with the results being announced at the Awards Ceremony during the gala dinner at the VENUEMASTERS Conference on Thursday 4th November 2004 at Manchester Conference Centre.
VENUEMASTERS Chief Executive, Terry Billingham, said, “We are delighted to have such acknowledged experts to decide who will be this years winners of our awards.
