The University of Leicester Conference team took to the botanic gardens for their meeting during National Meetings Week. Celebrating the message of the week that meetings can be fun, the group discussed the benefits of meetings and events outside of the office (quite literally outside in this case).
People benefit greatly from getting out and attending meetings and conferences, not only from listening to speakers but also networking with like minded individuals during tea breaks, lunch and in most cases, the bar. It is here that delegates share ideas and best practise that they can take back to the office with them.
