VENUEMASTERS are pleased to announce the appointment of John Clayton, from Croeso-Welcome Bangor, as their new Chairman.
VENUEMASTERS, which represents over 100 University and College centres throughout the UK, offers a FREE VENUE FINDING SERVICE to help organisers find the most appropriate venue for their event. The venues are able to offer extensive meeting and accommodation facilities for business and leisure tourism.
John has been a Director on the Board of VENUEMASTERS since 2003 and along with the other 7 directors is responsible for ensuring the strategic development of VENUEMASTERS.
He has vast experience of the industry having worked at the University of Wales, Bangor for over 13 years and is confident in the capability of the organisation. “I believe the activities undertaken by VENUEMASTERS raise the profile and generate business for the academic sector. I fully support the continued development of the consortium and hope I can rely on members to offer me the same kind of support.“
