It’s that time of year again; preparations are underway for the VENUEMASTERS exhibition 2005, the only event dedicated to showcasing the accommodation and meeting facilities of the UK’s leading academic venues.
With over 55 confirmed exhibitors the show promises to be another great success. “The VENUEMASTERS Exhibition is always very well received, with exhibitors from academic venues across the UK, the show provides a one stop shop for event organisers” says Terry Billingham, Chief Executive Officer at VENUEMASTERS.
Visitors to the 2005 Show are assured of a warm 'highland' welcome from the Scottish venues once again leaping over Hadrian's Wall to encourage the 'sassenachs' to choose Caledonia as the ideal conference, event and group travel location. Following last year's show which featured a traditional Piper dressed in full regalia, as well as special 'guest appearances' by Mary Queen of Scots and Braveheart, more surprises are planned by the Scots for this year.
Michael Chambers, Marketing Manager at the University of Stirling, promises lots more Scottish excitement for the 2005 event: "Having set the benchmark with last year's activities we are keen to take up where we left off, and provide all visitors with an entertaining and informative view of what Scotland has to offer.
