WARWICK Conferences are hoping their new-look website proves to be a big ‘hit’ . . . . as they recognise the importance of the internet as a sales and marketing asset.
With more and more people using the internet as a valuable source of information, the award-winning meetings and conference venue have made a number of important changes to their website which are designed to make it even more appealing to visitors.
First impressions are very important in that respect, and so the initial difference, which visitors will notice, is a home page that has been upgraded to offer new interactive links and images.
This helps to improve navigation through the website to sub-pages which carry questions helping users to discover a direct route to the information they are looking for as quickly as possible.
Another new feature that will assist event organisers and indeed the sales team at Warwick Conferences is an enquiry form requesting more information so that it speeds up the response time.
“We are constantly looking at ways in which we can improve the Warwick Conferences experience and the website is frequently the first contact that people make with us,” commented Amanda Simpson, Marketing and Communications Manager at Warwick Conferences.
“The important thing is to provide visitors with the right information and easy access to that information because people don’t want to spend a long time searching through different pages.
“The website should therefore reflect the excellence in service that has earned us so much acclaim and by achieving that standard with these improvements it will help us generate more business.”
The new-look website, which is being launched on the Warwick Conferences stand at International Confex 2005, offers more information to help event organisers plan more efficiently.
As well as new images of conference and meetings space throughout the venue, the web pages also contain detailed floor plans of the different facilities available to satisfy their requirements.
