In line with extensive modernisation and considerable investment to the tune of £250,000, Tanya Thorne, Brand Manager at The Wessex Conference Centre has written and designed a new website for the venue. With everyone from the individual prospective client in Australia, to the multi national conglomerates of the world kept in mind, the new website has been designed to provide every visitor with the exact information they require.
Tanya Thorne, Managing Director of ClearVision Communications, has been working with The Wessex Conference Centre now for over 4 years, and has redesigned and updated the website 3 times. The latest version introduces greater flexibility and offers enhanced information for the user. It also complies with the Disability Discrimination Act as it offers changeable font sizes and has clear, concise text throughout.
However, unlike its predecessors, this latest version found at www.thewessexcentre.co.uk has been built to accept additions in the future. Tanya says “We wanted a site where our clients, both current and prospective, could search for all information pertaining to this highly diverse and sizeable venue, but also that they could make use of it more on a daily basis. We will have a 7-day weather report for the region, plus interactive pages with games and quizzes to entertain you during lunch hours! Our chef will provide a monthly recipe using local produce, with tips on how to source the best ingredients, and provide traditional cooking techniques used everyday here at The Wessex Conference Centre. With time I anticipate the site to become a truly interactive and participating experience with something for everyone. Rather like the venue itself”
