CONFERENCE CORNWALL

CUC is a dynamic and visionary partnership that is one of the driving forces behind Cornwall’s renaissance. This partnership combines the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, Falmouth College of Arts, The Open University, The College of St Mark & St John, and the Peninsula Medical School, with Cornwall’s Further Education colleges – Cornwall College, Truro College and Penwith College. It aims not only to provide the students of the future with more choice and greater opportunities, but also to boost the economic fortunes of the region.

The Tremough Campus itself is a 70-acre site set in countryside with commanding views over to the Fal estuary. The groundbreaking design of the Tremough Campus is immediately evident, with the building’s landscaped sedum roof blending gently into the hillside.

The first event on site will be the South West Regional Development Agency’s annual conference. Funding from the RDA was crucial to the Cornwall project so to attract the Agency to Cornwall, as the very first conference event is fantastic publicity.

With state of the art meeting facilities for 300 delegates, 500 en-suite bedrooms and a brilliant location, Tremough will be firmly placing Cornwall on the map as THE up and coming conference destination. Where else can delegates experience shark fishing, surfing and a traditional homemade Cornish Pasty?
