VENUE DESCRIPTION

Kingston upon Thames is a vibrant riverside town with easy access to surrounding parkland and countryside. It is one of the most pleasant locations in the London area, and the capital's shopping, restaurants and cultural activities are just 25 minutes away by train.
Kingston Hill is an attractive hillside campus situated in leafy grounds about three miles outside Kingston town centre, whilst the Penrhyn Road campus is located in the centre of town.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTION

Our 750 bedrooms are located over three sites. Kingston Hill offers catering and academic facilities to complement the 250 en-suite bedrooms in flats of 6-8 sharing a kitchen. Kingston Bridge House offers 150 standard bedrooms in flats of 6-8 sharing 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Catering and academic facilities for Kingston Bridge House and Seething Wells are 15 minutes walk to Penrhyn Road.

MEETING DESCRIPTION

A variety of multi-purpose lecture theatres and teaching rooms with the latest AV equipment available for conferences, meetings, exhibitions and filming throughout the year at our main campuses and on a residential basis during the summer.
Dorich House has six rooms available in a 1930's house opposite the Kingston Hill campus, on an exclusive hire basis, all with AV equipment and is available throughout the year.

RESTAURANT / BAR DESCRIPTION

The Centenary Room - Kingston Hill accommodates 200 people in a fully licensed, air conditioned dining room overlooking the leafy campus
The Picton Room - Penryhn Road accommodates 150 people
The Food Store - Penrhyn Road provides catering for 400 people
Bars on all sites are run by the Students Union who should be contacted directly for hire details.

LEISURE FACILITIES

Kingston town offers a museum, theatre, 10 screen cinema and ten-pin bowling with fantastic shopping and a wide choice of restaurants.
Hampton Court Palace is a 30 minute walk/10 minute drive away with extensive gardens as well as the Palace. Windsor Castle, Kew Gardens, several race courses and Wimbledon are all within a short car journey.

By Car:
From the M25:
M25 to junction 13 (A30), follow signs to A308 (Kingston) through Staines, Sunbury, Hampton Court and on to Kingston Bridge or the M3 at junction 12 then at Sunbury take A308 to Hampton Court, follow signs for Kingston.
From Central London:
A3 to Robin Hood Roundabout, take the right lane filter onto Kingston Vale (A308).
From Heathrow:
111 or 285 bus to centre of Kingston upon Thames;
Piccadilly Line Underground service to Earl's Court, change to the District Line to Wimbledon, and catch a mainline train to Kingston
From Gatwick:
Train to Clapham Junction and then catch a mainline train to Kingston.

All of Kingston University's campuses are conveniently situated on the edge of London and the Surrey countryside. Historic and prosperous Kingston Upon Thames, the oldest of only 4 Royal boroughs, offers first class shopping and a wide range of leisure and entertainment facilities. It sits on one of the most picturesque stretches of the River Thames with world famous sites such as Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Kew Gardens, Wimbledon tennis, Twickenham rugby stadium, Chessington World of Adventures, Kempton Park and Epsom race courses all close-by.
