With excellent road and rail links with both Wales and England, The Hill is an ideal venue for a conference, business meeting or training event. The Hill is situated in its own picturesque grounds just half a mile from the market town of Abergavenny.

VENUE DESCRIPTION

The Hill is situated in its own picturesque grounds just half a mile from the market town of Abergavenny. With excellent road and rail links with both Wales and England, The Hill is an ideal venue for a conference, business meeting or training event. The Hill is open all year round for conferences and accommodation bookings.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTION

The Hill has 50 3 star en suite bedrooms which have been awarded the Silver Award for Business Class Accommodation by the Wales Tourist Board. Three rooms have been converted to handle the needs of the disabled. Self catering accommodation is available in the Lodge situated within the grounds of The Hill.

MEETING DESCRIPTION

The Hill has 6 meeting rooms capable of holding up to 220 delegates. The rooms have been awarded a Gold Standard Business Meeting Room Award from the Welsh Tourist Board. A video conferencing suite is also available and can be hired as part of an event or as a stand alone booking.

RESTAURANT / BAR DESCRIPTION

Our Sugarloaf Bar provides the perfect environment in which to relax after your meeting or conference. The Blorenge Restaurant with its panoramic views of the Blorenge Hill seats up to 70 diners in comfort and can be hired exlusively for corporate events.

LEISURE FACILITIES

The Victorian Walled Garden within the grounds of The Hill has been restored and guests are now able to stroll through the gardens or relax in the seating areas.

DIRECTIONS

Follow the A40 into Abergavenny and onto Frogmore Street. At the War Memorial, near Tescos, turn into Pen-y-Pound and continue up to the traffic lights. Turn left at the lights and immediately right. The Hill will be clearly signposted on your right approximately half a mile along this road.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS

Visitors to The Hill are able to embark upon a wide range of activities locally, including: hill walking, canal trips, cycling, gliding and golf. There also many places of interest to visit such as Abergavenny Castle, Raglan Castle, The Big Pit National Mining Museum and Blaenavon Ironworks.
