VENUE DESCRIPTION

UEA campus offers 270 acres of scenic parkland on the outskirts of the historic city of Norwich. There is easy access to the A47 and A11 trunk roads as well as the Norfolk Broads and coastline. We have a new sports park with a 50m swimming pool. Also on site is the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts with gallery and restaurant. We are able to offer the conference and meetings buyer an outstanding collection of versatile facilities.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTION

Stylish architect designed en suite accommodation in terraced houses. All with tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries.

MEETING DESCRIPTION

We have a wide range of meeting facilities, lecture theatres and seminar rooms. These will accommodate a broad range of needs from a small board meeting through to a full scale conference for 485 delegates. 755m2 of exhibition space is also available. A high quality training suite is available throughout the year.

RESTAURANT / BAR DESCRIPTION

Quality catering is available in a number of restaurants to suit both the nature of your meeting and your budget. At the heart of the campus is a self-service diner serving tasty hot meals and also a café for a snack. Private dining is available in a number of places, including the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts. A newly refurbished bar on campus is open to all.

LEISURE FACILITIES

The Sportspark contains a 50m swimming pool, squash and badminton courts climbing wall and a gym. The unique Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is open to all. There are some lovely walks available round the Broad, on the campus.

DIRECTIONS

Easily accessible from the city's southern by-pass direct to London and the Midlands. Regular rail and air services available.

UEA is the perfect location for leisure guests as well as for conferences. We frequently accommodate groups with many varying interests. Walkers and cyclists, boating enthusiasts and birdwatchers, painters and photographers, there’s something for all. For maximum convenience, you can find a variety of restaurants, shops, banks, a laundrette and a post office within the central campus.
