VENUE DESCRIPTION

Excellent accommodation (for up to 4,700 delegates), catering, meeting facilities and close proximity of the city centre, makes Cardiff an ideal location for your event. The Events Centre has a capacity of 230 while our Conference Management Service ensures that conferences are managed by a team of dedicated, professional co-ordinators.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTION

4700 single study/bedrooms are available including more than 3000 ensuite, 2,200 of which are located at the Talybont Village while all other rooms are within walking distance of the city centre.

MEETING DESCRIPTION

The University Conference Centre has a capacity of 230, while there are meeting rooms for up to 460 delegates available on the main campus. Other city venues are available for up to 5000 delegates. The university can offer a mixture of modern and traditional venues available within a city centre location.

RESTAURANT / BAR DESCRIPTION

Services include a range of menus from individual working lunches to conference dinners for up to 230. A range of venues are available including cyber cafes, formal dining rooms and reception areas with various capacities.

LEISURE FACILITIES

Facilities include Talybont Sports Centre with two indoor sports halls, fitness and weights room, grass practice and astro turf pitches. Also a main campus gymnasium and 33 acres of playing fields.

DIRECTIONS

All locations are easily accessible from the M4, M5 and A470. The city has excellent rail links (London 2 hrs) and an international airport.
