VENUE DESCRIPTION

The attractive and compact campus is only yards from Swansea Bay, surrounded on three sides by parkland. There is no more than 400 metres between the bedrooms, meeting rooms and dining areas. Swansea is conveniently located along the South Wales coast with easy access to the M4. The new Sports Swansea village incorporates a full range of facilities including a 50 metre pool with viewing for 1000, new athletics stadium, all weather and grass pitches and a large sports hall.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTION

There are over 870 bedrooms conveniently located on campus, in self catering flats and houses set in pleasant surroundings, many with sea views. Over 60 are twin rooms. 272 en suite bedrooms are available during the summer vacation, in addition to the existing 188.

MEETING DESCRIPTION

Over 100 rooms, 5 seating 250 or more, full AV service. 1st class Arts Centre with professional theatre for 380 and foyer/bar.

RESTAURANT / BAR DESCRIPTION

Wide variety of dining areas seating from 16 - 700. Well appointed bars and cyber cafe.

LEISURE FACILITIES

Excellent sports centre with indoor pool, gymnasium, fitness centre, climbing wall, squash and tennis courts, all weather pitch etc. Olympic-size 50 metre pool and new athletics stadium links with activity centre with muddiest assault course in Europe. Pony trekking, sailing, windsurfing, rock climbing all nearby.

DIRECTIONS

Located on coast road from Swansea to Mumbles. Very easy access to M4. One hour from Severn Crossing.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS

The Gower Peninsula, the first Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty in the UK is 15 minutes away. Wonderful gardens including the National Botanic makes a great visit or full day trip. Dylan Thomas Experience, loads of castles all nearby.

Wales Tourist Board Star Quality Campus 3 Star, Welcome Host. Wales Tourist Board Silver and Gold Business Awards for accommodation and meeting rooms. IIP recently gained.

OTHER INFORMATION

Surrounded by parks on three sides and the sea on the fourth. Egypt Centre Museum on site is a must to visit.
