VENUE DESCRIPTION

The Royal Agricultural College is set in 25 acres of private grounds on the outskirts of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds. Combines the peace of the countryside with the convenience of being a 30 minute drive away from M4 junction 15 and M5 junction 11a and a 5 minute taxi ride from Kemble station. An attractive compact campus, dedicated client manager, great food and staff for whom no task is too great.

MEETING DESCRIPTION

There are thirty meeting rooms ranging in size from a capacity for two people to three hundred. The Bathurst Suite located in the original building comprises a range of rooms to suit all occasions. Dedicated lecture rooms can be found in the Frank Garner Lecture Theatres. The recently refurbished Boutflour Hall and Parkinson lecture theatre offer plenary rooms of 300 and 160 respectively.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTION

The Conference Suite in the main building comprises 19 ensuite rooms available all year round. In vacation periods we offer 150 ensuite rooms and 90 standard. Many of the rooms at the RAC are twin bedded. There are many ground floor and accessible rooms for the less mobile.

RESTAURANT / BAR DESCRIPTION

The main dining room has a medieval banqueting hall feel and has smaller dining rooms around it within the converted Jacobean Farmhouse allowing for large functions or intimate dinner parties. The college bar with its high ceilings and decked seating has a country feel is adjacent to the 16th century Tithe Barn which is an ideal venue for registration, drinks receptions etc as well as being a comfortable residents lounge.

LEISURE FACILITIES

Take a short walk within the 25 acres surrounding the College buildings and you will find facilities to play tennis, squash, football, rugby, basketball and volleyball. Our groundsman is more than happy to provide other sports facilities where possible on request and the grounds themselves are beautiful for walking in; there is a small arboretum where no matter what the season there is always something to admire.

DIRECTIONS

With excellent road and rail links Cirencester and the Royal Agricultural College are easily accessible. Just a thirty minute drive from M4 Junction 15 and M5 juntion 11a and a 5 minute taxi ride from Kemble Station or from the National Coach stop. The College is well signposted from both the A419 and A417
