The Business School is a jewel in the crown of the University’s venues. Stunning glass atriums encase the building, and with a range of meeting and syndicate rooms for up to 70, six tiered lecture theatres for up to 250 and a large exhibition space and dining for up to 340, the Business School is the ideal all-in-one venue.

Home to the Manchester School of Art, with steel-braced oak staircases, a roof terrace for 200 with views of the Manchester cityscape, a stunning vertical gallery and exhibition space – Benzie is a work of art in itself. Alongside meeting rooms for up to 80 and a 130-seater lecture theatre, Benzie's open spaces make it the perfect venue for product launches, screenings and networking events.

With ambitious plans to be zero rated for energy, water and waste, Birley is a world-leading academic venue that provides first class meeting, conferencing and residential facilities. With multiple meeting rooms for up to 120 cabaret, lecture theatres for 200, a 545sqm exhibition space and the iconic Spanish Steps which are ideal for networking, Brooks has everything you need for your conference, exhibition or event under one roof.
Geoffrey Manton >>
Geoffrey Manton is one of Manchester Met’s hidden gems and is located just off Oxford Road. From the outside it is a large but modest building in appearance but once inside, it reveals a vast, spacious and flexible atrium ideal for networking, with easy access to five ground floor lecture theatres - the largest theatre holding up to 280 - and multiple meeting rooms for up to 40 cabaret.

Residential Conferencing
Manchester Metropolitan University has a huge amount of great-value accommodation available during the summer months. Birley can offer 295 en-suite cluster flats for conferencing, with standard bedrooms available in our Birley townhouses (600 beds).
