Event Essex: Colchester Campus & Event Essex: Southend Campus, Essex

To ensure the smooth running of your event, Event Essex provides you with a dedicated Account Manager, who will act as a safe pair of hands to support you throughout your event planning and delivery.

We provide you with a truly personal approach from the outset by listening to your needs, understanding your event and keeping you up-to-date during each event planning stage.

Between 1 - 1000 guests can enjoy our modern, innovative and traditional meeting spaces, comfortable ensuite accommodation and state-of-the-art fitness facilities. All of our meeting spaces have a flexible layout and come with the latest AV technologies, including interactive projectors, widescreen monitors and digital document cameras. 

Year round accommodation, with additional rooms during summer months. Choice of en-suite rooms available on a self-catering basis.

Colchester Campus

The Ivor Crewe Lecture theatre can provide theatre style seating for up to 1000, or choose from 9 other tiered theatre style rooms in our Lecture Theatre Building. Elsewhere, the Tony Rich Teaching Centre has 20 flexible rooms varying in sizes from 24-64.

Southend Campus

Our Business Hub Conference Rooms can host up-to 72, with additional meeting rooms and a full time reception. For bigger events, take advantage of The Forum’s new 200 seat lecture theatre. Opened in September 2013, this dedicated venue comes complete with state of the art technology and a 35 seat board room. Modern teaching rooms are also available in our Gateway Building.

Both campuses offer our unique iLab facilities which have been specifically designed to encourage creative thinking and problem solving, transporting groups from their everyday environment into an extraordinary space - with a proven track record for customer satisfaction. Brain storming software is also available, which can be of benefit to strategic planning, organisational change, and conflict management sessions.
