With over 100 purpose built meeting and seminar rooms, lecture theatres and the stunning grade II listed Octagon and art-deco Great Hall, Events & Hospitality QM offers facilities at three campuses in the City of London (at Barts Hospital), Whitechapel (Royal London Hospital) and the Queen Mary campus in Mile End.
We specialise in versatility and great value, with facilities for residential conferences (mid June to mid September) day meetings, training, examinations, exhibitions or functions. One call and a member of our knowledgeable team will support you from enquiry through to the completion of your event.
Catering
Our in house team are available to support you with your hospitality requirements. From refreshments to fine dining, our knowledgeable team are on hand to meet your needs regardless of budget. We offer a range of off the peg menus, or, alternatively, can provide a bespoke menu tailored to your event.
The Octagon
This Victorian venue, the former library of the university, offers heritage and timeless elegance with a uniquely spectacular backdrop, accommodating up to 50 boardroom style or 120 theatre style – it can also be used for dinners for 180, for examinations, or as exhibition space to support an event held elsewhere.
The Great Hall
Fully restored to its original 1930s art-deco glory, this versatile venue offers a fully functioning theatrical stage alongside a registration area and foyer bar. All of which is combined with indoor circulation space and an outdoor terrace. With seating for up to 770 and retractable bleacher seating on the lower level, the venue can adapt to meet your needs, from tiered seating to flat-floored space ideal for exhibitions, examinations or networking.
