Lancaster Conferences, Lancaster

With outstanding meeting and events facilities, Lancaster Conferences offers an ideal location for any event. Our range of meeting spaces covers everything from small but perfectly formed meeting rooms, to vast and multi-tiered lecture theatres. Our 3* accredited guest rooms and onsite 4* hotel allow us to offer residential conferences all year round.

Our Conference Venues

At Lancaster, we can offer high specification meeting rooms in our purpose built conference centre. Our centre includes three large rooms that can hold up to 100 people with an additional eleven breakout rooms all under one roof. With free car parking and Wi-Fi this is a popular option for conferences or training sessions. In addition, our conference team can offer facilities in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Private Dining Rooms all year round. These two spaces are ideal for numbers between 24 – 120 and are located close to the guest rooms.

If you are looking for exhibition space, our BREEAM awarded LICA building must be considered. With three rooms that can open into one and floor to ceiling windows, this is perfect for 30+ table top or shell scheme stands. Even better, our LICA building has a foyer area suitable for catering and refreshments, along with a number of breakout rooms.

At Lancaster Conferences we understand how important food is to the delegates (and organisers!), which is why we are proud to highlight that the University has received two Gold Food for Life awards. Lancaster is the only University to receive two of these prestigious awards which promotes the use of fresh, seasonal, organic and local produce in our menus. Our conference catering now gives you a chance to host a BBQ or hog roast whilst still offering a range of home cooked cuisine.

Accommodation at Lancaster

As a conference venue with on-site accommodation, we can offer delegates a range of options including overnight bed and breakfast accommodation. Whatever your event type or budget, we can help you to find a modern, reasonably priced room to suit your requirements. We can also offer delegates an evening meal as part of our 24 hour package, or this can be arranged and booked separately at The Lounge restaurant on campus. We offer the following bedrooms:

  • 80 3* en-suite bedrooms available all year round
  • 250 en-suite bedrooms available during the Easter vacation
  • 1000 en-suite bedrooms available during the Summer vacation

All of our rooms are modern and comfortable, located in small flatlets close to our selection of restaurants and conference facilities. All of our rooms are single en-suites and come fully equipped with showers, toiletries, data points and tea and coffee making facilities.
